Current Volunteer Opportunities
We want to first and foremost thank you for partnering with us. You helped to sponsor a summer filled with lots of learning activities in classrooms, parks, museums, gyms, and fields. Before our upcoming newsletter updates you with information and stories, we want to take a moment to highlight a few opportunities available at Hospitality House this season.

Education
Urban Learning Center has a great need for tutors and assistants as we strive to encourage our kids to grow in an environment filled with opportunities for educational enrichment and character development. One key factor is to keep our kids engaged as they learn and have fun. Volunteer support is greatly needed in areas such as reading/writing/math, open gym, spiritual development, as well as copying and organizing. Our After School program runs Mon-Fri from 2-7 p.m. Volunteers sign up & commit to come from 2-4 or 4-6pm, usually one or two days/ wk.
Outreach
Midnight Basketball has an urgent need for groups to take a turn in making and serving a simple meal such as Sloppy Joes, chips and dessert on Friday nights to the young men who come to this powerful outreach. Groups are involved from approx 7:30 - 11 pm serving the meal, as well as assisting with the clock, playing on a team, supervising the building, and listening or maybe delivering the power talk.
Athletics
Assistants are needed for our hard working teams as they practice and compete this fall and winter.
