During the next United Way fund-drive you will be asked to fill out a giving form.
Select the "designate" box on the form and fill in this information for our 501(c)(3) charity:

A Message from our Board Chair
As you fill out your United Way contribution form, I wanted to highlight an opportunity to channel your funds to an excellent inner city charity that is truly making a difference in North Minneapolis. Our Executive Director is Larry McKenzie, Henry High School Basketball Coach.
Hospitality House Youth Directions is a Christian youth development organization in North Minneapolis.
Our Vision is "To make a difference one child at a time by inspiring that child to become a dynamic leader and fostering the child's love for faith, community and self."
Our Major Programs
Urban Learning Center - An Area Learning Center for the Minneapolis Public Schools that serves urban youth annually after school and during the summer. After completing homework, our participants cycle through stations (including a 14-station computer lab) to develop their basic skills.
Striders Track Club
Summer Camping
Midnight Basketball - Outreach to at-risk males
PAL Baseball and softball
Girls Sports - Basketball, praise dance
Sista to Sista - A peer group for young women on cultural and spiritual growth
Young Apostles - A peer group for young men
In The Spirit - Monthly Christian gathering with music, spoken word and testimony
Christmas with Dignity - gift program with KTIS and Northwestern College yielding scholarships for inner city youth at Northwestern College. Over 2000 youth served last year.
Hospitality House touches the lives of about 1,200 kids each year in an environment where 70% do not have a father figure in the home and 62% live below the poverty level. These kids start life with 2 strikes against them and these programs offer them real structure and an opportunity for growth.
