Team Minnesota Testimonials
“My son had all that was needed to succeed in basketball within himself. Team MN coaches took personal interest in him, developed his skills, strength, and confidence, . . . draw out what he had within and excel. During his time with Team MN, he went from having intermittent contact with a few D3 schools to over 20 D1 coaches actively recruiting him.”

“Team Minnesota [provided] three important areas for John’s spring/summer basketball program: 1) great coaching instruction; 2) high level of competition for practice and games; 3) terrific exposure to D1 and D2 coaches on a national basis.”

“Our son learned how to use his God-given talent to the fullest through Team MN. The coaches were able to pull out from within Kyle what he didn’t even know was inside of himself. They were truly able to magnify his strengths and improve his weaknesses. They pushed him beyond what he had ever been pushed previously . . . by challenging him to be the best he could be. The coaches are honest, forthright, demanding and encouraging. Kyle grew in every aspect of the game of basketball and we are all thankful for the opportunity we shared.”

“The coaches of Team MN did an excellent job of getting production out of our son, Jeff, as well as his teammates. Jeff gained a lot of confidence in his shot and learned to play an up-tempo style [of game.] Furthermore, we very much appreciated the attitudes of the coaches who treated the players kindly, respectfully, and firmly (when needed). They also showed considerable expertise as coaches, quickly saw situations and techniques that needed improvement, and had remedies for them. I would highly recommend Team MN to the serious high school player.”

Longar's participation in your program was instrumental in helping him to secure a scholarship to Oklahoma University. The exposure he received in traveling with Team Minnesota allowed many of the top-flight college programs to see his skills and become familiar with his game. More importantly to me I know that the coaches cared about Longar as an individual apart from being a talented basketball player. Longar's involvement with Team Minnesota was an extremely positive experience for him both as a basketball player and as a young man on the cusp of adulthood.
